What started as one of the most painful moments of my life—my Olympic heartbreak broadcast around the world—has become a powerful mission far greater than any medal.
My Journey
- Represented Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics
- Retired from diving to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Texas
- Took a desk job—until I felt called back
- Retired from a desk job and returned to diving and became an Olympian again for Team USA in Paris
- Faced crushing disappointment in Paris, but that moment became a turning point
- What felt like failure became something far more powerful:
- A purpose to inspire and serve beyond sport
A New Mission: Saving Lives in Lochoredome, Kenya
- In this remote village, the nearest doctor is 80 miles away
- When Mission of Hope International arrived in 2021:
- 97% of children were suffering from acute malnutrition
- Basic access to healthcare, clean water, and education was nearly nonexistent
Progress Is Already Happening
- Malnutrition is decreasing
- Skin infections are healing
- Kids are starting to learn and thrive
But one thing is still missing: a medical center to provide real, lasting care!
Introducing: Horizon of Hope
April 27th in Austin, TX
Join me as we work to raise $100,000 to build a medical center in Lochoredome, giving children and families a real chance at life.
Why It Matters
- Painful moments don’t define us—it’s how we respond
- My Paris heartbreak didn’t end my story—it ignited my deeper purpose
- This is bigger than medals, platforms, or personal success
